It wouldn't be a stretch to say that we've either had our elders tell us or, in turn, are now the elders lecturing younger generations about "how easy they have it now" compared to what we faced back in OUR day...(Insert reference to walking uphill both ways). But, nowadays, with technology innovation moving at such a lightning-fast pace, even kids at a young age can claim the "well, when I was your age..." line.
